Siberian Indigenous Peoples Facing Environmental Changes in a Colonial Context (16th-20th Centuries)

I am interested in extreme events and risks over the last 500 years in the fields of climate, disasters, geology, (volcanism, earthquakes, landslides) and environmental changes between the 16th and 20th centuries. In addition to reconstructing these extreme events of the past, my work focuses on studying their impact on societies. I am currently conducting research on environmental changes and indigenous peoples of Siberia in a colonial context (17th–early 20th centuries).
