研究内容

Sato lab has several scientific connections with many countries around the world. Egypt is one of the countries that we have a strong relationship based on different projects. Sato lab. has developed a new low-frequency radar system to image the huge structure of the great Giza pyramid. We finished the primary radar prototype during the last two years, and we conducted many experiments in Japan and Egypt to verify its performance, which showed outstanding performance. We could achieve success for the first time to transmit and receive radar signals inside the great pyramid between King and Queen chamber.

Based on our developed system, we are planning in this research to continue analyzing the data we acquired and innovate new methods to demonstrate the electromagnetic propagation behavior inside the great pyramid rocks. The second goal is to use the same developed radar system with the assist of our Egyptian collaborators to scan different locations inside the great pyramid to confirm our system performance. The ultimate goal of our research is to remove the vague about many confusing and unknown things inside that great structure.

I have held 20 online seminars to train the Egyptian collaborators at the National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics on using our developed radar system to conduct an archeological survey inside the great Giza Pyramid. Now, we are continuing our work for more enhancement to our system performance.

For this purpose, some steps are planned to be achieved in this research toward our ultimate goal. -Developing new methods to explain the behavior of wave propagation inside the great pyramid rocks. -Conducting more experiments inside King and Queen chamber using GPR system. -Continue exchanging the knowledge with our collaborators via online meetings (during the project period, we are planning to hold 15 online seminars to accelerate our progress). -Report and publish the results in a high-ranked scientific journal.
