We are thrilled to welcome Profosser Dov-Ber Kotlerman, head of the Sznajderman Chair in Yiddish Culture and Hasidism, Department of Literature of the Jewish People, Bar Ilan University, as a visiting scholar. During his stay, he will be conducting research titled " Japan and Japanese through the Eyes of Jewish Settlers in the Russian Far East, 1928-1949: Unexpected Neighbors." Professor Kotlerman will also participate in various events, including a public lecture held by the Center on June 24th.
